If you've never touched keyword density before, here's the version without the jargon.
Keyword density stopped being a meaningful ranking factor over a decade ago, but the underlying question it's a rough proxy for — does this page clearly cover its topic — very much still matters.
You don't need to understand everything about it on day one. Start with just this: use density as a sanity check, not a target — if your primary keyword doesn't appear naturally at all, that's worth noticing; forcing it to hit 3% is not.
The most common beginner mistake is skipping it entirely because it sounds technical. It usually isn't — keyword density is one of those things that looks intimidating from the outside and takes ten minutes once you actually sit down with it.
Once this feels comfortable, broken image links is a natural next thing to learn.
Keyword Density Checker is the fastest way to see it in action on a real page.
